Andy has a vast career in the travel industry, specialising in rail holidays. Having founded the award-winning train travel agency Railbookers in 2003, he knows the ins and outs of the railway industry and is well accustomed to the wishes of modern-day rail travellers.
Andy has travelled on more than 99% of all railway lines in Europe and has extensive knowledge of train travel in dozens of other countries around the world, which also includes luxury trains. Andy can assist you with crafting your train trip and turning your wishes into a complete itinerary. He will, of course, happily answer any questions you may have about train travel.
You can talk through your planned trip, whether you already have an itinerary in mind or are starting from scratch. If you have a plan, Andy will review it with you to see where he can add value and offer recommendations. If you do not yet have specific plans, he will guide you through ideas and possibilities, asking the right questions to shape an outline for your trip.
Andy will also advise you on how to book the trains you need, and can offer personal hotel recommendations based on your preferences. He can likewise suggest particularly scenic rail routes or interesting destinations to visit or use as stopovers if you are looking for inspiration.
With his extensive rail travel experience, Andy will also help ensure that your itinerary is foolproof. As train delays can always occur, he will make sure there is a plan B so that a single delay will not derail your entire trip.
